Away day in the Junior Cup

Wanderers have been drawn to face CPD Y Glannau in the second round of the NWCFA Junor Cup. Y Glannau, who are from the Clwyd Premier Division, play their home matches at Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St Asaph.
Caernarfon Wanderers Soccer School

As from 9th October 2008 Caernarfon Wanderers will be starting up a Soccer School, based at the Caernarfon Leisure Centre and Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen Gym respectively. We will be offering Football Coaching to all interested players of all abilities with the intention to invite players in four age groups, Under 6, Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 respectively with each age group being coached by two CRB accredited, FAW Qualified Coaches.
In addition to the Coaching Staff, there will also be a minimum of one person qualified in Sports First Aid on hand at each session.
The sessions will run between 6 and 8pm every Thursday night with each session lasting one hour for each age group. The Under 6 age group (participants must be a minimum of four years of age) coaching sessions will take place from 6 to 7pm at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen Gym with the under 8s following at 7pm to 8pm. Sessions for the under 10s and 12s age groups will take place on the Leisure Centre Astro Turf 7-8pm. There will be a fee of 2 pounds per participant to cover the costs of hiring etc
We offer a child friendly environment in order to keep children sport motivated and healthy.

Over 35's Tournament Success

Caernarfon Wanderers held an over 35 year old Tournament at Cae Top on Sunday 3rd August with over 200 people attending on the day to play and support the local teams.
Llewod Llanrug took the Over 35's winners trophy home, beating Cae Glyn B on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the final. Cae Glyn A, Segontium Rovers, Caernarfon Tyres and the Wanderers also gave their all to make it a good competitive tournament.
All the players gave their all and gave the referees on the day enough grief.
The club would like to thank all the clubs who participated in making a successful and enjoyable day for all especially the supporters.
We all hope to see you again next year: fitter & faster!
Wanderers announce new Vice-Chairman

Caernarfon Wanderers have appointed Rod Holroyd as their new vice-chaiman.
Club Treasurer Iolo Williams added: We are very pleased with our announcement of Rod Holroyd as our new Vice-Chairman. Rod has been influential in the forming of Caernarfon Wanderers and we're happy that he's taken on the new role to take us into the future.
Wanderers announce Assistant Manager

Caernarfon Wanderers welcomes Bryn Griffiths appointment as Barry Alan's Assisstant Manager.
Bryan is a former player and manager of local League of Wales team Caernarfon Town. Manager Barry Williams added: I am delighted that Bryan hs agreed to join us for the forthcoming season. His football knowledge and vast experience will benefit the squad and the club as a whole.
Wanderers announce new Secretary

Howard Jenkins steps down

Howard Jenkins has stepped down as Caernarfon Wanderers Club Secretary following his announcement of his move to London. Chief Executive Kevin Hughes added: We would like to thank Howard for all his hard work over the past 18 months where he has been an indispensable member who helped form the club and get us to where we are now. We wish him all the best for the future.
